Full Bellies Feed Strong Minds!
It's true what they say, "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day." Not only does it provide energy and nutrition, it also improves alertness, concentration, mental performance, mood and memory. Students who eat breakfast before starting their school day tend to score better on academic tests in math, reading, and science. Researchers believe that breakfast provides the energy necessary to increase cognitive, or thinking, speed and problem-solving skills. So we want to make sure that students are beginning the day with a full stomach!
