OUR MISSION

Be a GEM Foundation is dedicated to ensuring that every child has equal access to proper nutrition, basic necessities, and educational resources. We provide meals to students and their families during the holiday season and distribute hygiene care packages to teens and young women in need. To support the aspirations of our youth, we offer scholarships to post-secondary students who are committed to improving our community. Additionally, we supply school materials to students in lower-income areas.

​40-ACRE DONATION TO THE TOWN OF KITCHENER

We were incredibly proud to stand beside our father as he donated 40 acres of property, in memory of our mother, to Budd Park, which features baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and the Kitchener Soccer Club. His philanthropic efforts have made an impact on thousands of families and continue to motivate our mission of the Be a GEM Foundation. ​

OUR CONTRIBUTION

Celebrating six years since our founding, we’ve made significant impacts: awarding over $47,000 in scholarships, and contributing more than $15,000 to breakfast programs, academic initiatives, and classroom support. We’ve served meals to over 300 families, distributed over 4,000 school supplies, and provided more than 1,500 hygiene items to local shelters such as the Windsor Youth Centre and Hiatus House. We’ve donated over 300 books to local schools and offered thousands of dollars in gift cards, groceries, clothes, and care packages to families in need.
